Thanks for your Support!

First of all I would like to Thank you all for your moral support, I didn't know so many of you cared.  Obviously you enjoy our personal Drama with over 200 visits alone today on just this post. I received texts and facebook messages a plenty.  I've even received offers to photograph the moment so we can relieve the memory and requests from far away to video it so they can share in the moment as well. Oh, just so you aren't confused we are still talking about the divorce and not the upcoming wedding, although we were discussing details on the way home from the court house. We really can't wait to start planning it and its going to be everything WE want and not all the formal traditional stuff of well, our past experiences.  Mike's excited to get some input as well.  After all it is OUR day!!

So step one is taken care of and it really wasn't hard at all.  I did all the paperwork at Mike's request and printed it out. He signed on the line and we took it to the court house first thing this morning.  We forked out a chunk of change (there goes anything fun in the next little bit, good thing Mike already bought his 50" 3D TV before) and they stamped a couple of papers and handed us another form and now we go on to step 2.

The next step is serving the papers and well that should be fun.  After the papers are served, 30 days are required for an Answer and if none is received we continue filing more paper work and forking out more cash until all the steps are complete. Its a lot of hassle but Mike is worth every second of it.  I just wish it wasn't costing us so much and not just in dollar amount but in time and patience as well.  I know its all worth it though whenever I see Mike's smile and how happy he is, this is Finally getting done.  He looked like an excited little kid on Christmas this morning.  I can't wait to see him on our actual wedding day, not to mention how incredibly cute our kids will look all dressed up.

So after knowing each other for 10 years and being together over 5 years, a dog, 3 kids, a college diploma (Me), various operations (Mike), several theatre productions, and a house we are finally so very close to sealing the deal.  Are we excited?  Hell Yeah! We can't wait and neither can the kids.  Camden is constantly asking if Mommy is getting married and Ella has been bugging forever and I mean forever.  So step one down and just a few more to go.  So here is to a very exciting year filled with love and happiness.  Hopefully I am not counting our chickens before they hatch you never know when "LIFE" can get in the way of finishing up the remaining steps.  If you some how missed the first part of the Divorce Saga you can read it here.  We wouldn't want you to be out of the loop!
